How and when did you get involved with the GC programme?
I have been the coordinator of the GC programme since June of 2017. I applied for the position after having been sent the advertisement from a close friend and fellow feminist who had done some GC short courses herself during her undergraduate degree.
What influenced your decision to join the GC staff?
Their passionate and primary focus on issues of social justice.
What do you find most exciting about being part of the GC team?
I enjoy the dynamic nature of the space and its situation in CILT. There is always something happening in our building – a talk to listen to, an activity to partake in or an achievement to be celebrated. GC understands that the personal is political and I have never felt the need to compromise on my personal beliefs to be part of the team.
What is the one thing you think people should know about you?
Pottermore sorted me into Ravenclaw, a decision with which I concur wholeheartedly.
